I well remember the "Ward rooms" it was the basement bit of the pub on the corner down to the harbour. It had a low ceiling and it would have been around 1965 it became trendy for the young crowd (like me). The ceiling was so low that people would sign or enter comments on it and I seem to remember that there was a pen provided (felt tip...just out then!). In those days a few extra pints didn't seem to be a problem as far as the driving was concerned! - Pete
