The Evergreens

Hi Everyone and welcome to our web page.
We are the over fifty year olds who meet every
week for chat, entertainment and outings.

We promote the benefits of the over fifties to
Groomsport and provide facilities in social
welfare for health, recreation and leisure
time activities, with the object of improving conditions of life for the older citizen.

We meet in the Parish Halls Main Street Groomsport Co. Down every Thursday afternoon 2pm. to 4pm. (For those less able, who would otherwise be housebound, volunteer drivers transport members to the club.)

PLEASE NOTE WE ALWAYS NEED NEW VOLUNTEER DRIVERS.

ENTERTAINMENT

For entertainment we have speakers to give talks on such things as health, safety in the home, fire prevention, then we have Story Tellers, demonstrator's etc. We have several outings a year, going other towns & cities for shopping, meals and to places like museums, crystal, pottery, potato crisp and textile factories and more, a lot more.

DUES

Members dues are £1.50 per week whether they attend or not.
